This compilation of 6 Smudge songs goes for a total of one and half minutes. The shortest song goes for 4 seconds, the longest for 28 seconds. They are catchy little spurts of punk-pop genius, especially the trilogy of Foccacia, Steak & Chips & Babaganouj.

Have I mentioned before that I love this band.

Melvins - King Buzzo (1992)

Back in 1992 when we were all 15 years younger, a band by the name of the MELVINS decided to copy their heroes (KISS) and release solo albums (or E.P's), so King Buzzo, Dale Crover and Joe Preston (bassist at the time) did just that. The highlight of the three albums is King Buzzo, joined on the disc by a guy by the name of Dale Nixon, who in actual fact is Dave Grohl, the drummer from that Nirvana band and the lead singer, guitarist from that ordinary band The Foo Fighters. There is a duet on this EP, some noise, some more noise and a quite amusing spoken word like track with Dave, I mean Dale Nixon telling a story set to some heavy metal music, enjoy because if you don't you'll make baby Jesus cry.

Secret Chiefs 3 - 4 X 7inches (2007)

These four 7inches were available for sale on the bands recent tour
of Australia. I could only afford to go to the second show, and at the
first show all the records sold out so I frickin' missed out, damn it!
When the Chiefs first toured Australia in 1998 I purchased 2 records
so I was a bit pissed I missed out on these 4 but in the end I found
them to download and discovered that the 7inches were not actually
Secret Chiefs 3 releases, although they are Secret Chiefs 3 related.
More information about these 7" singles can be found at the Web of
Mimicry website. Anyways they are still really cool and worth a good
old slogging on your beat box, or CD player, whatever. Apparently
the Chiefs will be covering the theme from Halloween (1978) on their
new LP "Book of Souls", slated for release later this year, the original
version, well cover version, by UR is on the first 7", read about it at
